On the right track: IMPROVE partners meet for a joint work session in Istanbul

The IMPROVE partners Arcelik A.S, Marmara University and Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences kicked off this New Year with a meeting in Istanbul  from 17 to 19 January. Welcoming their colleagues from Germany to the buzzling metropole on the Bosporus, the three-day meeting took place at the premises of both Turkish partners: at Arcelik Advanced Robotics Lab, which was opened in November 2016, and at the new laboratory at Marmara University.

Apart from discussing latest project progress and results, the workshop was used to map out the path forward, define the next steps and plan joint publications. Within IMPROVE’s overall work programme Marmara University, Fraunhofer IOSB, Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences and Arcelik A.S closely cooperate to develop prediction model learning algorithms applying a data-driven approach.
