IMPROVE demonstrator at Hannover Messe

April 2018 – On the occasion of the renowned Hannover Messe in Germany, IMPROVE will be part of the joint stand it’s OWL in hall 16 A04 from April 23 to 27. “We are very happy to show our demonstrator to illustrate how our IMPROVE tools enhance the production process,” states Alexander von Birgelen, scientist from the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applies Sciences (HS-OWL) and IMPROVE responsible for the field of condition monitoring. The demonstration will allow to present different model learning types of the newly developed condition monitoring tool.

Within the project, the 13 IMPROVE partners have developed solutions in the field of simulation & optimization, condition monitoring, alarm management, and quality prediction to enhance the manufacturing process. The condition monitoring tool presented at Hannover Messe uses learned normal behavior models to analyze the system's condition. The live data from the system is compared to predictions of the model and allows detecting and localizing anomalies to determine predictive maintenance requirements.
