IMPROVE at “VDI Automation” 2018

Baden-Baden – In the frame of the “VDI Automation” conference from July 3-4 in Baden-Baden, Germany, the IMPROVE team has presented their research on data mining projects. Iris Weiß from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Alexander Harrer from Brückner, showcased the practical work they have realised within IMPROVE. In this context, they especially focused on guidelines to collect expert knowledge, to elaborate mental models and to integrate expert knowledge in the data analysis to determine prediction models. The lecture has been hold in the frame of the topic process automation and the detection of anomalies.

The “VDI Automation” is renowned as one of the most important conferences in the field of automation in Germany. In 2018, the conference chose the topic “Seamless Covergence of Automation & IT“ as key issue.
