As one of the foremost companies in KOÇ Group and Turkish private industry, Arçelik, founded in 1955, has always been the leader in Turkish private sector with its efforts for industrial development. Today, Arçelik Group is the third largest company in home appliances sector in Europe (Commercial Enterprise/ large industrial company). Arçelik Group achieved a consolidated turnover of EUR 4.4 Billion in 2013.

Arcelik currently has compeleted/ongoing 12 projects in FP7 programme, 12 projects in Eureka and coordinates 1 project in Era.Net.

Arcelik will act as an end user in the project and will provide a prototype. Arcelik works in the requirement analysis (WP 1) to set the requirements of developed techniques to needs of large manufacturing systems. The main task is to implement the prototype in WP7.

Developed techniques and methods will be transferred to Arcelik plants and verified during pilot runs. The impact will be measured and documented.
